art exhibits

When we opened Parlor hair studio in 2003, we knew that we wanted to exhibit art by local visionaries. Part of this reason we decided to exhibit art is that I have an art background and though hair is a creative outlet for me, I also love being surrounded by art for inspiration. We have been rotating our art bi-monthly sine, exhibiting a total of over sixty artists as of now! The feedback from our community is overwhelmingly positive being that we are supporting local artists, some exhibiting for the first time. We also donate our commission to mostly local charities. The work we have in the salon is of Wendy Fox-Warfield (co-owner of Parlor) and the charity we are working with is Posh Pets Rescue Group, a local animal rescue group doing amazing work. For our clients, well, this is just another sensory experience for them, something else to look forward to when they come to relax and have their hair done.

Parlor hair studio exhibits the work of local artists, changing it bi-monthly keeping the space fresh and our team inspired. We do not take a commission, but donate a portion to a local charity, giving back to our community.
